Job Summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing a range of pharmaceutical services, including clinical, consultative, research, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and pharmacokinetic consultations.
  • Develop and implement pharmaceutical care plans for patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication use and improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in research studies and clinical trials to advance the field of pharmacy practice.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to promote pharmaceutical services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of California.
  • At least 2 years of experience in clinical pharmacy practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, including pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Postgraduate year 1 (PGY1) residency training in pharmacy practice.
  • Experience with electronic health records and other healthcare technology systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to pharmacy practice.
