Assistant Manager for Restaurant Operations

Are you prepared to take on a leadership role in our restaurant? Avenida Restaurant is in search of a passionate and committed full-time or part-time Assistant Manager to contribute to our vibrant establishment. This role can be tailored to either full or part-time hours, aligning with our operational schedule.
We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $27.00/hr to $28.00/hr, ensuring that your efforts are recognized and rewarded. Additionally, you will benefit from a range of perks, including:
- Paid Time Off (5 days in your first year, increasing to 15 days after 3 years)

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Assistant Manager, you play a crucial role in our operational success. You will oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house activities, stepping into a leadership position in the absence of the restaurant manager to ensure seamless daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating employee performance and providing constructive feedback
- Identifying opportunities for employee advancement
- Collaborating with the head chef to maintain kitchen protocols
- Managing shifts and preparing staff schedules to uphold service standards
- Planning and monitoring workforce requirements while preparing performance reports to meet budgetary goals
At the end of each day, you will take pride in knowing that your dedication contributes to the satisfaction of both our customers and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar managerial role within the restaurant industry
- Experience in a Filipino dining establishment is advantageous
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
