Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is a volunteer organization with over 68,000 members from diverse professional backgrounds, including mechanics, healthcare professionals, educators, and retirees. Job Title:Kentucky Wing Financial Coordinator (Part-time)
Compensation:$22.50 per hour
Role Summary:The Wing Financial Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Wing Commander by managing financial and personnel documentation to ensure compliance with organizational and governmental standards.
Key Qualifications:- Minimum of two years of verifiable experience in an administrative role, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail in document preparation and management under tight deadlines.
- At least three years of proven bookkeeping experience is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, non-technical correspondence.
- Familiarity with administrative procedures and record-keeping practices is required.
- Experience with office equipment such as copiers and fax machines is necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy, are essential.
- Willingness to work occasional short-notice overtime is required.
- Knowledge of Civil Air Patrol operations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to adapt communications to align with standard Air Force protocols is desired.
- An Associate's Degree is preferred.
