Key Responsibilities:
As a Culinary Services Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the sensory team across various projects, including Descriptive Analysis (DA), consumer guidance, difference panels, and team tastings.

Your ability to work independently is essential, particularly during the hours of 7:00 am to 3:30 pm CST (30 Min Lunch break). You will be tasked with preparing panels, which includes creating references, sample preparation, and organizing the panel room for training and testing sessions.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Setting up sensory booths with appropriate labeling and managing the sensory tests using the Eye Question program.
  • Serving samples during panel sessions and ensuring the cleanliness of the panel room, sample preparation lab, and booths.
  • Assisting in the restocking of supplies and maintaining inventory for the sensory lab area.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and maintaining organized storage for food and chemicals.
  • Documenting all relevant information to safeguard any patentable advancements in technology as per company policy.
  • Managing multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to deadlines.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members and demonstrating strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Maintaining and updating iPads and laptops on a weekly basis.
  • Completing the Master Sanitation Schedule for the sensory lab.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven problem-solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Initiative in addressing technical challenges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to thrive in a lab environment while adhering to good manufacturing practices
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet other job-related physical demands
  • Valid driver's license for transportation of samples as needed

Preferred:
  • 3-6 months of laboratory experience
  • Experience in a kitchen setting is advantageous
