Physician - Wound Care Specialist

Overview:
AmeriWound is seeking a skilled Physician to join our team as a Wound Care Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality wound care services to patients in various facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Round weekly at assigned facilities within territory to assess patient conditions and provide wound care services.
- Diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine, and develop treatment plans to promote wound healing.
- Perform medical procedures, such as debridement, as necessary to promote wound healing.
- Communicate and collaborate with facility clinical staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document each patient encounter in EMR - APRIMA and maintain patient medical records on company-assigned laptop computer.
Qualifications:
- MD, DO degree.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in a relevant specialty.
- Active, unrestricted state medical license.
- DEA license.
- Valid driver's license.
