As an Automotive Functional Safety Engineer at Onward Technologies Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of automotive systems. Your expertise will contribute to the development of safety-critical applications in the automotive sector.
Experience Required:
2 to 8 years (maximum 10 years)
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the ISO 26262 product development lifecycle, specifically focusing on Parts 4, 5, and 6.
- Develop and maintain ISO 26262 work products to meet industry standards.
- Contribute to the development of Automotive Embedded Software.
- Conduct safety-oriented analyses, including software Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), and Design Failure Analysis (DFA).
- Work with general automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs), components, and features, particularly in safety-critical environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) safety software development.
- Familiarity with modeling tools such as MagicDraw and Medini.
- Proficiency in Model-Based Design tools like Matlab/Simulink.
- Solid understanding of automotive systems and product development processes.
- Experience in the development of aerospace safety systems.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR standards and C/C++ programming.
- Experience with Agile and V-Model software development methodologies.
