Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to apartments and common areas, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that residents are satisfied with the service they receive.
  • Inspect properties to identify areas that require maintenance or repair, and develop plans to address these issues.
  • Collaborate with maintenance leadership to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
  • Participate in emergency on-call/after-hours maintenance assignments, adhering to established response times and addressing emergency issues appropriately.
  • Observe and promote safety and risk management in accordance with local, federal, state, and company rules and regulations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
  • General maintenance and carpentry skills, including knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.
