Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Academic Operations Specialist to join our team at Waukesha County Technical College. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing adjunct instructor assignments, workload distribution, and contracts. This position requires expertise in academic programming and the College's ERP system to effectively carry out these responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with academic departments to gather information on course offerings, enrollment, and adjunct instructor availability
  • Generate adjunct instructor contracts, agreements, and letters of appointment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with institutional policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with departments to resolve discrepancies or contractual issues
  • Operate as the subject matter expert (SME) for the faculty load and compensation (FLAC) module in Ellucian Banner
  • Document practices and procedures to be shared across the College
  • Attend meetings and workshops related to FLAC and adjunct instructor pay
Requirements
  • Associates' degree in business administration, payroll, or relevant discipline; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three years' recent, related work experience
  • Familiarity with higher education structure and policies is preferred
