Primary Purpose of Position
This role is essential for fostering collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to orchestrate an effective admissions process. The incumbent will spearhead initiatives that align with strategic objectives and provide insightful data analysis to inform recruitment and admissions strategies. Responsibilities include overseeing the comprehensive review of applications, ensuring equitable and timely evaluations, and endorsing departmental admission recommendations. The position also involves actively recruiting a diverse and talented student body through participation in recruitment events and outreach activities.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in recruitment methodologies, including prospective student engagement, project management, and familiarity with university software systems such as Banner and Admissions Pros. Strong analytical and organizational skills, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication abilities, are essential. The candidate should exhibit the capacity to work autonomously, exercise sound judgment, and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of individuals in a dynamic environment.
Minimum Education/Experience
A Master's degree or a combination of a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience from accredited institutions is required.
