Job Title: Assistant Director of Admissions

Job Summary:

The Assistant Director of Admissions will play a key role in managing travel processes, including the annual recruitment calendar, responding to travel requests, processing event payments, and corresponding with alumni to assist with recruitment efforts. This position will also supervise the campus tour coordinator and serve as the back-up in their absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage travel for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, including the annual recruitment calendar and responding to travel requests.
  • Process event payments and correspond with alumni to assist with recruitment efforts.
  • Supervise the campus tour coordinator and serve as the back-up in their absence.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to produce annual travel and campus tour reports.
  • Assist in long-range planning and goal setting specifically related to campus visit programs.
  • Coordinate recruitment data entered in the CRM and other databases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required with at least 3 years of admissions and/or management/program coordination experience preferred.
  • Proven excellence in verbal and written communication.
  • Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, plan work within the larger context of known program goals, and make thoughtful decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience in using a student information system (BANNER, DATATEL, AdmissionPros, etc.).
