Salary
The successful candidate can expect a highly competitive salary of up to $23 per hour for Commis and $25 per hour for Chef de Partie, based on experience, plus associated overtime. Additionally, we offer health benefits after 90 days and opportunities to learn directly from local farms, ranches, wineries, and breweries.
Job Description
As a Pastry Chef de Partie or Pastry Commis, you will be responsible for:
- Intake and organization of deliveries
- Setting up kitchen stations and prepping mise en place
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Executing dishes for service with precision and efficiency
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a fine dining kitchen
- California Food Handler Certification
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Great attitudes, loyalty, and a team mentality
