Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Academic Instructional Specialist to provide 1:1 or group instruction to students in Washington, D.C. area.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality instructional services to students in grades K-2.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive learning environment.
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification required.
  • Experience working with K-6 students, with a preference for those with experience in K-2.
  • Prior tutoring or teaching experience.
  • Excellent subject knowledge in core academic areas, including English, math, science, and social studies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of learners, including students with learning differences and English language learners.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities simultaneously.

Compensation

$20-$40 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
