About the Role

Delta-T Group is seeking a skilled and dedicated Instructional Specialist for Students with Disabilities to join our team in the Washington, DC area.

Summary of Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and other specialists to create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Develop and implement tailored teaching strategies to support students with diverse learning needs.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed.
  • Foster effective communication with colleagues, families, and students to ensure seamless coordination and support.
  • Stay current with best practices in special education through ongoing professional development and training.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; experience working in special education settings preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
Compensation and Benefits
