Job Summary
As a Mental Health Support Specialist (BHT), you will form a vital part of our multidisciplinary team, contributing to the provision of exceptional patient care and support. This role requires a dedicated individual who can provide personalized care to patients with complex psychiatric and physical conditions, working closely with the rest of the team to create a safe and therapeutic environment. Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the Mental Health Support Specialist (BHT) role include:
1. Providing direct care to patients, including assistance with daily living activities, administering medication, and supporting patients during crisis situations
2. Documenting patient interactions and progress in the Electronic Medical Record, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
3. Facilitating group sessions and engaging with patients to promote their emotional well-being and rehabilitation
4. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs

Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants for the Mental Health Support Specialist (BHT) position should possess the following qualifications and meet the minimum requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
2. At least one year of behavioral health experience, including direct services such as counseling, monitoring, and conducting recreational activities
3. Completion of Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training and Basic Life Support certification
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
5. Proficiency in basic computer applications, including electronic medical records systems
6. Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English
7. Age requirement: at least 21 years old or at least 18 years old and licensed or certified under A.R.S. Title 32, providing services within the personnel member's scope of practice

Compensation and Benefits
The successful candidate for the Mental Health Support Specialist (BHT) position will receive an attractive compensation package, including an hourly pay rate of $24.00, plus benefits and ongoing professional development opportunities.
