Job Overview:
Western Care Inc is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team in Laveen, Arizona. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with mental health difficulties. As a member of our residential group home team, you will provide supportive living environments, protect residents' rights, and promote their independence.

Salary Information:
The estimated salary for this position is $14.00 per hour, paid on a full-time basis. With a 8-hour shift schedule from Monday to Friday, you will have a stable income and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide supportive living environments and protect residents' rights.
  • Demonstrate ethical behaviors such as respecting residents and personnel boundaries.
  • Prepare meals and transport residents to outside therapeutic services when necessary.
  • Maintain a neat and clean working environment at all times.
  • Document daily progress notes on residents' progress and regression.
  • Protect and maintain confidentiality of resident records and information.
  • Assist residents in independent life skills training and coordinate social activities.
  • Administer medications according to agency procedures.
  • Support residents in receiving care and services specified in their treatment plans.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • 1 year of behavioral health experience (preferred).
  • Driver's license (preferred) and Level 1 Finger Print Clearance Card (preferred).
