DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL
El LPN se encargará principalmente de la aplicación de yesos y equipos médicos duraderos, así como de tareas clínicas relacionadas con el cuidado del paciente bajo la supervisión de un médico según sea necesario.
RESPONSABILIDADES
Para desempeñar este trabajo con éxito, un individuo debe ser capaz de realizar cada deber esencial de manera satisfactoria:
- Aplicación de yesos, yesos especiales, reducciones menores/moldeado/remoción de suturas/grapas y cambios de vendajes;
- Preparar inyecciones, obtener cultivos según lo ordenado/necesario;
- Distribuir Equipos Médicos Duraderos (DME) a los pacientes, aplicación de DME, mediciones de férulas personalizadas y, en algunos casos, ordenar inventario de DME;
- Verificar la información del paciente; registrar el historial médico y reportar al médico;
- Demostrar documentación completa, precisa y oportuna en el sistema de registros médicos electrónicos;
- Mantener y salvaguardar todos los registros de pacientes según lo indicado y requerido por las políticas de la práctica y la Ley de Portabilidad y Responsabilidad de Seguros de Salud (HIPAA);
- Asistir al proveedor con el cuidado del paciente según se solicite;
- Otras responsabilidades según se asignen.
CALIFICACIONES
Los requisitos enumerados a continuación son representativos del conocimiento, habilidad y capacidad para realizar las funciones esenciales:
- Graduado de una escuela de enfermería acreditada;
- Licencia LPN actual y sin restricciones para ejercer enfermería en NYS requerida;
- 1-3 años de experiencia reciente preferida;
- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y servicio al cliente;
- Dominio del Microsoft Office Suite y registros médicos electrónicos (EMR) preferido;
- Certificación en RCP preferida.

- Viajar entre oficinas según sea necesario, se requiere transporte confiable.
Horario: 11:30am-8pm
