Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Aviation Security Officer force, ensuring compliance with TSA regulations and corporate policies.

  • Evaluate station attendance and performance deficiencies, administering corrective measures in accordance with Human Resources policies.
  • Administer payroll reporting within established guidelines and deadlines.
  • Implement cost-effective measures across the station.
  • Ensure station compliance with all reporting procedures, administering procedural changes and communicating effectively with staff.
  • Conduct daily briefings and occasional staff meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Training and Compliance department on all training (initial and recurrent) of station personnel.
  • Safeguard company equipment and vehicles.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
Requirements
  • Detailed experience in managing people and processes.
  • A proactive thinker with an outgoing personality, comfortable speaking in front of groups and interacting with company colleagues and employees.
  • Excellent intrapersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at various social levels across diverse cultures.
  • Ability to pass initial and recurrent training classes administered by the company and/or local airport authority.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • A.C.E certification preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have necessary IDs to verify.
  • Must be willing to participate in a drug test with negative results.
  • Must be willing to pass a 10-year verifiable background check (employment, education, criminal, and personal references).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge with Customs seal as distributed by local airport authority and US Customs and Border Patrol.
Language Skills

English Proficiency required (reading, writing, and speaking).

Physical/Environmental Requirements

Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, involving exposure to noise, chemical, and other contaminants, moving mechanical hazards, and extremes of temperature and weather conditions. Must have sufficient visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses; sufficient auditory ability, with or without audio logical devices; able to tolerate exposure to noise levels up to 120 decibels; capable of being on one's feet for extended periods and lifting 50 pounds unassisted.
