Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team in Dallas, Austin, or Midland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management of construction operations, including planning, engineering, procurement, cost tracking, and maintenance programs. The Facilities Engineer will work closely with the Asset Team to ensure timely construction of surface production facilities and maintain facility integrity through regular maintenance and oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and plan facilities, including pad layout planning, vessel sizing, and review of P&IDs and electrical schematics.
  • Create cost estimates for AFEs and budgeting.
  • Procure all necessary equipment, including bid list and cost comparisons.
  • Evaluate capacities and constraints of existing equipment and piping systems.
  • Collaborate with on-site construction supervisors and contractors to ensure construction meets Formentera's design and production targets.
  • Review daily construction estimates and interface with local utility providers on 3-phase power electrification.
  • Collaborate with field operations staff on debottlenecking existing facilities and maintaining asset integrity through scheduled maintenance programs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for troubleshooting and facility incident investigations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering.
  • 6+ years of experience in Facilities Engineering.
