Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Technology Assistant to join our team at the City of Leesburg, FL. As a key member of our library team, you will provide marketing and technology assistance for adult public programming, working closely with the Library Program Coordinator to develop and implement marketing strategies and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop marketing materials, including program flyers, calendars, and social media content
  • Set up and take down meeting rooms for adult programs and outside organization meetings
  • Provide excellent customer service to patrons, answering general library questions and directing callers to the appropriate extension
  • Assist with technical requirements for meetings and programs, including sound and video equipment
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining files and compiling data
  • Provide circulation services and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least six months of work experience in customer service in a professional setting
  • Strong computer and internet skills, including proficiency in social media, basic marketing design software, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings
