About the Role:

Care New England is seeking a skilled mental health worker to join our team on the Delmonico 4 unit, an adult inpatient general treatment unit. As a mental health worker, you will play a vital role in providing patient advocacy and assisting registered nurses in direct care, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient advocacy through role modeling and communicating patient needs
  • Assist registered nurses in direct care, including patients' activities of daily living
  • Help create a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a social science or comparable experience
  • Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients
  • Excellent written and communication skills

Schedule:

20/40 Part Time Days - Every Other Weekend
