Job Overview

Synectics Inc is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Drawing blood samples from patients and preparing them for lab testing
  • Focusing on process excellence skills and maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of patient information
  • Working independently with minimal on-site supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintaining required records and documentation
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred
  • 3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $40,000-$60,000, depending on location and experience.
