Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

W3Global Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct dimensional inspections and measurements of products to ensure compliance with customer specifications
- Develop and implement quality procedures and standards for raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
- Investigate and diagnose quality complaints or defective products, and recommend corrective actions to improve performance
- Maintain and organize our internal gauge database
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality workmanship
- Resolve any quality issues
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean work area
- Complete time travelers, time slips, required inspections, and appropriate paperwork
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree and five to seven years of related experience; or ten to twelve years of progressively responsible related experience;
- CMM operation: Minimum 5 years (Required)
- Quality inspection: Minimum 5 years (Required)
Qualifications & Skills
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Solid understanding of the fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Extensive ability to read and interpret blueprints & mechanical drawings
- Proficient knowledge of GD & T, extensive knowledge preferred
- Extensive ability to operate CMM machining equipment
- Extensive ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Extensive ability to solve problems using critical thinking skills
- Extensive ability to organize and manage priorities, meet deadlines, and expectations
- Extensive ability to measure/inspect lengths, diameters, straightness, or flatness
- Self-confident with strong qualitative, analytical, and mathematical skills
- Pre-employment drug/alcohol/physical required
- Extensive ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Extensive ability to solve problems using critical thinking skills
- Extensive ability to organize and manage priorities, meet deadlines, and expectations
