Medical Scribe

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our team at Quantum Vision Centers. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a critical role in supporting our ophthalmologists and optometrists by accurately documenting patient visits and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Documentation: Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician.
- Electronic Health Records (EHR): Responsible for the operation of the EHR system for patients.
- Anticipatory Support: Anticipate physician needs to facilitate the flow of the clinic.
- Discretion and Confidentiality: Must be discreet, tactful, and modest in performance of duties so as not to distract medical staff from patient care.
- Communication Skills: Good judgment, organization ability, attention to detail, and ability to be self-motivated are especially important.
- Administrative Tasks: Open and close exam rooms as needed, help with testing, and keep rooms filled to maintain flow of the clinic.
- Travel: Must be willing to travel between offices.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: Previous experience or training in this or similar position preferred.
- Skills: Efficient in using EHR and ability to accurately record information, good typing, spelling, grammar, and oral communication skills, working knowledge of medical terminology and accepted abbreviations, computer proficiency, and ability to quickly learn new applications.
