Tool & Die Repair

To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

Develop, maintain and upgrade fixtures and gages.   Computes dimensions, plans layout and determines assembly method and sequence of operations.        Measures, marks and scribes metal stock for machining.        Determine specifications for inspection of work, using full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection before, during and after machining.

 

This full-time, hourly,  role is a part of our Toolroom team and reports to the Toolroom Manager .

Required experience:

Education and/or Experience: 

High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); three to five years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience. Journeyman’s card preferred.

Ability to work with the following tools or machinery

Micrometers Calipers Scales

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
