Position Summary
The role of the Account Manager in the Key Accounts department is crucial for coordinating customer service requests, including service and re-roof inquiries, with the relevant service teams or sales personnel. This position oversees the entire work order process, from the initial customer contact to invoicing and accounts receivable management.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

  • Customer service experience
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong time management capabilities
  • Ability to perform under pressure

Skills and Knowledge

  • Familiarity with Viewpoint software
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Knowledge of Adobe or Bluebeam
  • Proficient in Word
  • Understanding of various customer portals
  • Experience with Box

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process customer notifications
  • Verify customer and site records in the ERP system
  • Create and manage work orders in Viewpoint, including warranty details
  • Update customer portals as necessary
  • Communicate with relevant departments regarding new work orders
  • Inform customers about any deficiencies and repairs
  • Educate customers on warranty coverage
  • Manage invoicing for both manufacturers and customers
  • Coordinate with local departments on financial aspects of invoices
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures for invoicing and digital asset management
  • Generate reports and analyses of revenue
  • Collaborate with Salesforce and Viewpoint systems
  • Meet customer expectations consistently
  • Assist in training and mentoring staff on account procedures
  • Manage aging and collections processes
  • Notify customers of estimated arrival times
  • Track work order timelines and address any discrepancies
  • Maintain effective communication with customers and team members
  • Be available for occasional after-hours responsibilities
