Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Market of Choice. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for assisting customers with product selections and recommendations, cutting and trimming meat, fish, and poultry to specification, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare ready-to-heat foods by filleting meat or fish or cutting it into bite-sized pieces
  • Prepare and add vegetables or apply sauces or breading
  • Wrap, weigh, label, and price cuts of meat, and prepare and place meat cuts and products in display cases in an attractive and eye-catching manner
  • Maintain Health and Safety sanitation requirements

Requirements

  • Prior cutting experience is preferred, but all applicants will be considered
  • Must have open availability, including evenings and weekends
  • Must be at least 18 years old
