Job Description

Market of Choice is a local company with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and employee growth. We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have previous cutting experience and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will include cutting and trimming meat, fish, and poultry to specification, as well as assisting customers with selections and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ready-to-heat foods by filleting meat or fish or cutting it into bite-sized pieces
  • Prepare and add vegetables or apply sauces or breading
  • Wrap, weigh, label, and price cuts of meat, and prepare and place meat cuts and products in display cases in attractive and eye-catching ways
  • Maintain Health and Safety sanitation requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous cutting experience
  • Open availability, including evenings and weekends
  • Must be 18 years or older
