Southwestern Vermont Health Care is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical imaging and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

**Job Summary:**

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and communicating clinical findings to radiologists.

**Responsibilities:**

* Conduct ultrasound examinations using various modalities and techniques
* Identify and communicate clinical findings to radiologists
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and examination results
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care

**Requirements:**

* High School diploma or equivalent required
* College coursework guided towards ARDMS Board certification and prior hands-on clinical ultrasound experience in a hospital setting preferred
* American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography ARDMS Board certification required
* ARRT (R) and Vermont State Radiologic Technician license is a plus
* Current health care provider BLS certification within 90 days of hire required
