Summary

The Senior Portfolio Manager plays a crucial role in assessing risk and managing the Bank's loan portfolio by providing analytical and credit oversight. This position is responsible for the annual review, renewal, loan covenant compliance reviews, and financial collection process within assigned loan portfolios. The Senior Portfolio Manager partners with Relationship Managers to grow and develop a high-quality and profitable loan portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate pertinent information to determine risk rating and identify credit risk trends at the customer and portfolio level.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to meet with current and prospective clients to understand their specific requirements and needs.
  • Collect and analyze financial data to ensure accurate risk assessment and thorough underwriting.
  • Prepare financial spreads, Credit Presentation Sheets, Narrative, Relationship Summary, and packages for approval on all new and existing credits.
  • Assist in pricing and structuring new loans and renewals.
  • Coordinate closing and booking events.
  • Monitor industry trends and analyze specific industry trend data to identify potential areas of risk.
  • Complete and maintain compliance and regulatory courses as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, or finance (Master's preferred).
  • At least 7 years of commercial credit experience required (as credit analyst, underwriter, portfolio manager, or similar position).
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
