About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Director, Social Media and Content Strategy to join our Communications team at Epic Games. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our global social media and editorial strategies across multiple platforms, including TikTok, X, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, and our blogs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a global team to create engaging and creative content that resonates with our audience and drives business results.
  • Develop and implement social media and editorial strategies that align with our company's brand and vision.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices to ensure our content remains relevant and effective.
  • Represent the team in senior leadership meetings to articulate our social media strategies and results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address reactive community issues and drive local social and editorial opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and social media platforms to ensure seamless campaign execution.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in social media management, with at least 5+ years of experience building and managing a team.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns that drive business results.
  • Excellent understanding of editorial content and SEO principles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an attention to detail.
  • Operational and data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate campaign results into actionable insights and optimizations.
  • A self-starter with the confidence to take measured risks and lead cross-functional teams.
