Your primary role will involve overseeing the housekeeping team, guaranteeing that all staff members uphold our exceptional standards, and maintaining a well-supplied housekeeping department.

Ideal candidates will possess a background in hospitality, take pride in their work, and be committed to surpassing guest expectations. A background in a leadership position is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor areas serviced by room attendants and communicate any concerns such as room damages or maintenance needs to the front desk.
  • Adhere to departmental budgets, manage inventory, and procure cleaning supplies as necessary.
  • Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping division, which includes cleaning guest accommodations and communal spaces.
  • Ensure all cleaning apparatus is functioning correctly and coordinate repairs when required.
  • Facilitate the recruitment and training of housekeeping personnel to ensure they meet and exceed our cleanliness and customer service standards.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality or customer service.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a senior position within the housekeeping sector.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and customer service abilities are required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of environmental services (EVS), including detailed cleaning methodologies and a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
