Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Director

Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist Director at Living Legends Health, where you will play a vital role in leading our Respiratory Care department.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Therapist to fill this key leadership position. As a Respiratory Therapist Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Respiratory Care department, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Respiratory Care department, ensuring that all staff members are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure that all staff members are up-to-date on the latest techniques and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the Respiratory Care department, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the Respiratory Care department, ensuring that all expenses are accounted for and that we are operating within our means.
Requirements:
  • Respiratory Therapist licensed in NYS required.
  • Graduate of an AMA approved school for Respiratory Care required.
  • Experience in long-term care facility preferred.
  • Experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or extended care facility preferred.
