Key Responsibilities
  • Member Support: Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing accurate and timely information about health plan benefits, services, and policies.
  • Provider Support: Assist providers with questions and concerns related to member care, claims, and eligibility.
  • Health Plan Operations: Facilitate health education activities, events, and other health plan functions as needed.
  • Communication: Maintain professional and courteous communication with members, providers, and health plan staff, both verbally and in writing.
  • Documentation: Accurately document all interactions with members, providers, and health plan staff in our CRM system.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare environment, with a focus on member services or customer support.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft applications, with experience in CRM systems a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medicare Experience: 1 year of experience working with Medicare Advantage plans.
  • Bilingual: Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Start-up Experience: Experience working in a start-up company.
  • CMS Regulations: Familiarity with CMS regulations.
