Job Summary
Quad/Graphics is seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our medical call center team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for answering inbound calls, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming patient calls professionally and respond to inquiries and requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and clinic staff, ensuring that patient needs are met and resolved.
- Identify and escalate difficult or priority issues, ensuring that they are handled with care and immediacy.
- Perform follow-up calls and complete call logs/documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Respond to customer questions regarding clinic benefits, RX refills, eligibility, and other related topics.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED; associates degree preferred.
- 1 year of experience in an automated call center environment required.
- Medical background strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and positive communication skills.
- Ability to make recommendations to effectively solve problems.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Typing skills of 45-50 WPM.
