Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Technician Preceptor to join our team at Fresenius Medical Center. As a Patient Care Technician Preceptor, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and training the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including hemodialysis treatments and vascular access management
  • Train and mentor new Patient Care Technicians in the Fresenius Medical Center way
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Current PCT national certification or state-specific certification
  • At least five years of patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
