Job Summary

Schneider is seeking a qualified CDL-A Dry Bulk Truck Driver to join our team. As a tanker truck driver, you will be responsible for hauling 75% non-hazardous freight in tanker trailers, with regular home time every other week.

  • Haul tanker trailers with 75% non-hazardous freight.
  • Ensure safe transportation of bulk freight.
  • Meet with dispatchers to plan routes and schedules.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles.

Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Valid Commercial Learner's Permit (if interested in company-paid CDL training) with Tanker endorsement.
  • Tanker and HazMat endorsements required at time of hire.
  • TWIC card preferred — required to start process within 60 days of hire.
  • Live within 50 miles of Indianapolis, IN or 150 miles of Chicago, IL.
