Dental Hygiene Specialist

Job OverviewWe're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this full-time position, you'll have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art practice, providing top-notch care to patients while collaborating with our experienced dental team.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Dental Hygienist at The Crossroads Dental Care, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing thorough dental hygiene services, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
- Collaborating with our dentists to develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Conducting dental screenings and taking x-rays as needed.
- Documenting patient records accurately and efficiently.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:
- Current licensure as a dental hygienist in Florida (or soon to be licensed).
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening documentation.
- CPR certification.
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
- Any years of clinical experience.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- A desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
This role requires prolonged periods of sitting and standing, as well as the ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year is also necessary.
