Job Summary:

The Child Welfare Specialist will provide full wrap-around case management services to LSF clients and families, establishing relationships with them while upholding the agency's core values. This role involves providing essential support to vulnerable populations, ensuring their safety and well-being.

About the Position:

The Child Welfare Specialist will work closely with various stakeholders, including social workers, law enforcement officials, and healthcare professionals, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide case management services to LSF clients and families, focusing on their unique needs and strengths.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their circumstances and developing tailored plans to address their challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve issues affecting client well-being.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding client information.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or related field.
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience in child welfare, social work, or a related field.
  • Certification in child welfare case management or willingness to obtain certification within one year.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable vehicle for transportation.
