Job Title: Civil Laborer Skilled

We are seeking a skilled civil laborer to join our team at Long Wave Services. As a civil laborer, you will be responsible for performing manual labor and using hand tools, power equipment, and machinery to support our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual labor and use hand tools, power equipment, and machinery to support construction projects.
  • Assist in carpentry, concrete forming, pouring, and finishing tasks.
  • Operate basic jobsite equipment, including telehandlers, backhoes, skid steers, and mini excavators.
  • Read blueprints and apply them to projects.
  • Work unsupervised and train less skilled workers.
  • Manage jobsite and equipment operations.
  • Order and schedule material deliveries.
  • Calculate yardage and cement needed for projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 1 year minimum general construction labor experience.
  • 4 years of strong working knowledge of general carpentry and concrete forming, pouring, and finishing.
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time to various locations.
  • Ability to obtain a passport.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance and background check upon hired.
  • Proficient in MS office products, including email, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Completed at least 30 hours of OSHA construction safety classes or equivalent.
Work Conditions:

Employee will work in and outside in various environments. Employee will be expected to travel and pack for weather for locations where specific attire is necessary.
