Job Summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian I to join our team. As a Clinical Dietitian I, you will play a critical role in assessing the nutritional status of patients and developing personalized nutrition plans to improve disease management and overall health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments using standardized tools and protocols to identify patients at risk for malnutrition or other nutrition-related complications.
  • Develop and implement targeted nutrition interventions, including customized meal plans and education programs, to support patients' nutritional needs and promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to nutrition care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in nutrition and dietetics to ensure the highest level of care for patients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited program.
  • Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
