About the Role

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dietitian to fill the position of Clinical Nutrition Manager at Erlanger Health in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the clinical nutrition programs at Erlanger Baroness Hospital, the Children's Hospital at Erlanger, Erlanger East Hospital, Erlanger North Hospital, Erlanger Bledsoe Hospital, and Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor new and current Registered Dietitians and Dietetic Interns.
  • Provide technical support to the diet office and collaborate with Patient Service Managers.
  • Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards.
  • Provide education to patients and families.
  • Develop and implement medical nutrition therapy using established standards of care.
  • Provide staff education to ensure the safe management and care of clients and families.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during team conferences to recommend, implement, and monitor nutrition interventions.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and regulatory compliance activities.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian credentials with management and acute care clinical experience.
  • Tennessee license, and ability to obtain North Carolina license.
  • Pediatric experience a plus.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and manages multiple priorities.
  • Strong leader with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to creatively problem solve, work well with minimal supervision, and make decisions while working within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment.
  • Excellent people skills and a passion for driving and improving the patient experience.
