Unit Overview:

Sodexo is on the lookout for a Clinical Dietitian to join our team. This role will involve working across various outpatient and inpatient settings, ensuring comprehensive nutritional support.

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

Benefits Include:

  • Reimbursement for professional association dues, state licensure fees, and CDR renewal.
  • Three weeks of vacation, eight holidays, and three personal days annually.
  • Funding for continuing education opportunities.
  • Up to $5,000 in tuition reimbursement each year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nutritional care to a diverse patient population.
  • Provide hospital-wide coverage every fourth weekend.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives, including patient satisfaction assessments and monthly test trays.
  • Educate members of the healthcare team, including physicians and nursing staff.
  • Supervise dietetic interns during their training.

Candidate Profile:
We seek individuals who possess:

  • Registered Dietitian credentials and a valid license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong time management skills and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • A proven ability to interact effectively with healthcare professionals.

Compensation:
Sodexo provides fair and competitive compensation, which is influenced by the candidate's educational background and relevant experience. The salary range for this position is established, but final offers are tailored based on individual qualifications.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

Master's degree with completion of necessary coursework and supervised practice as per the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to the specified cutoff:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND.

Credential Requirements:

Must meet the eligibility criteria for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and achieve registration within a designated timeframe. In certain states or facilities, RD/RDN credentials may be required upon hire.

Experience:

A minimum of three years of practical experience, demonstrating the ability to work with minimal supervision.
