Your role will involve the implementation, coordination, and assessment of medical nutrition therapy for our residents. You will also provide educational support to residents and their families, as well as conduct nutritional evaluations to aid in the planning, organization, and management of the facility's food and nutrition services.
Shift:
- Full-Time
- Assist in formulating initial and comprehensive dietary assessments for each resident.
- Help create a detailed dietary care plan that outlines the dietary challenges and objectives for each resident.
- Encourage resident and family involvement in the development and assessment of the dietary care plan.
- Ensure all dietary staff are informed of the care plan and utilize it in daily dietary service planning.
- Identify any special dietary equipment and utensils required by residents.
- Analyze and interpret patient chart information to recommend suitable medical nutrition therapy.
- Must hold a valid license as a Registered Dietitian.
- A minimum of two years' experience as a professional dietitian in long-term care, including some administrative duties, or one year as a registered consulting dietitian in long-term care settings.
