Position Overview

The Hardware Resource Management Expert plays a pivotal role in overseeing and tracking IT assets throughout their complete lifecycle. This position requires close collaboration with various technical teams and cross-departmental stakeholders, including Finance, Procurement, and Service Desk, to uphold and refine established asset management protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and uphold comprehensive IT asset management procedures that align with ITIL best practices.
  • Engage in regular physical inventories of IT equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and accountability.
  • Utilize analytical reports to assist in locating and recovering missing hardware.
  • Generate and present reports from the IT inventory system as necessary.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership and finance teams to optimize asset-related costs and budgetary considerations.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for enhancing processes and achieving cost efficiencies.
QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience with ServiceNow, specifically in asset management and reporting.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Asset Management or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT asset management principles and practices.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong accountability and commitment to high standards.
  • Proven ability to independently identify and resolve issues.
  • Initiative in navigating unfamiliar or ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to align diverse stakeholders and represent a unified perspective.
