Lead Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a seasoned professional with a strong background in the Finance industry, particularly in FinTech, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytics, including predictive models, credit models, and pricing models.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Design and Development of Predictive Models: Develop and implement advanced predictive models, credit models, and pricing models to drive business growth and optimize customer experiences.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and other data scientists to understand business needs and identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Develop Custom Data Models and Algorithms: Create custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets and drive business outcomes.
- Use Predictive Modeling to Increase and Optimize Customer Experiences: Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.
- Teach and Mentor Team Members: Develop strong teaching and mentoring skills to build up talent and delegate responsibilities to ensure maximum productivity and grow the team.
- Coordinate with Functional Teams to Implement Models: Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Develop Processes and Tools to Monitor Model Performance: Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Advise Senior Management on Data-Driven Initiatives: Advise senior management on the potential impact of new and existing data-driven initiatives.
- Minimum 8+ Years of Experience as a Data Scientist
- Proven Experience in the FinTech Industry
- Extensive Knowledge of Credit Models, Pricing Models, and Predictive Analytics
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills with an Emphasis on Product Development
- Experience Using Statistical Computer Languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.)
- Knowledge of Machine Learning Techniques and Advanced Statistical Concepts
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Drive to Learn and Master New Technologies and Techniques
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment and Manage Multiple Tasks Simultaneously
- Strong Leadership Skills with a Proven Ability to Guide a Team towards Success
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a Related Field
