Key Responsibilities- Lead the Design and Development of Predictive Models
- Use advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyze complex data sets.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
- Use Predictive Modeling to Drive Business Outcomes
- Strong teaching and mentoring skills for building up talent and delegating responsibilities.
- Coordinate with Functional Teams to Implement Models
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Advise Senior Management on Data-Driven Initiatives
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
- Proven experience in the FinTech industry.
- Extensive knowledge of credit models, pricing models, and predictive analytics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
- Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts and experience with applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to guide a team towards success.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
