Clinical Speech Pathology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Speech Pathology Specialist to join our team at Emory Healthcare. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to make a meaningful contribution to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
About the RoleThis Clinical Speech Pathology Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical speech pathology services to patients, including testing, analysis, and evaluation of complex medical problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology and experience working with head and neck cancer patients.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas of improvement
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Participate in departmental orientation and mentorship programs to support new staff and students
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Georgia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- One year of experience in speech-language pathology, preferably with head and neck cancer patients
- BLS Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association
