Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical services to patients with complex communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders using standardized assessment tools and procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' specific needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Georgia.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • One year of experience in Speech-Language Pathology, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • BLS Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
