We are seeking a highly skilled Communication Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, GA on a 12-week contract basis.

About the Role

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' speech and language abilities
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address each client's specific needs
  • Providing therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to provide holistic care for clients
  • Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment as needed
  • Monitoring and documenting clients' progress throughout treatment
  • Keeping detailed records of patients' progress and treatment plans
  • Providing education and counseling to clients and their families on communication strategies and techniques
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • State licensure or certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
  • Experience working with diverse populations and in a variety of clinical settings
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
