ResponsibilitiesAs an Administrative Coordinator at Atria Senior Living, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing office operations, including answering phone calls, retrieving messages, and distributing mail and publications.
  • Providing excellent customer service, responding to inquiries, and welcoming on-site visitors.
  • Coordinating guest room reservations, maintaining resident hospitalization lists, and updating appointment calendars.
  • Performing clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, and collating, as needed.
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies, collecting rent checks, and providing necessary information to bookkeeping for billing.
  • Driving a company vehicle from the community to social events and other destinations, if required.

Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, or one to three years of related experience and/or training.
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification where required.
  • The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. You should also be able to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • The ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. You should also be able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • The ability to operate a telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier, and work various schedules and shifts as needed.
